You can measure and cut if you’d like, but since the glove-armor is just an oval, and the vambrace is a bland shape that’s small in front and wider toward the elbow, I drew out simple shapes and cut them accordingly without the use of a template beforehand.Īfter you’ve cut, use your heat gun to bend the foam so that it will fit over your arms and hands. The very first step in the process is to cut out your vambrace and glove-plates from the EVA foam.
